Eduardo performed on Show 400, aired on May 31, 2021.

Eduardo Rivera (saxophone), 17, is from Mission, Texas, and in his senior year at Mission High School. He studies music with Sam Hjort, Crystal Rodriguez, and Armando Rodriguez. Eddie is a member of his school’s Varsity Wind Ensemble, Marching Band, and Jazz Band. During the Covid-19 Pandemic, he and some friends co-founded a music collaborative whose mission is to unite the nation’s young saxophonists, providing opportunities for them to continue to make music and grow through competitions, ensemble projects, and more. In the future, Eddie aspires to be a music educator as well as a saxophone soloist. Outside of musical pursuits, he enjoys fishing and playing basketball.
