Natalie Zhang (piano), 16, from Weston, Massachusetts, is a junior at Weston High School and a piano student of Professor Michael Lewin. Natalie has won top prizes at various international competitions and participated in many distinguished music festivals. In addition to her musical accomplishments, Natalie is an avid graphic designer, winning a National Gold Medal from Scholastic Arts and designing logos, posters, and other merchandise for her community. She also enjoys creative writing, especially poetry.
Music has the unique ability to bring joy to our lives – especially in the hands of young people. Daily Joy is a reminder of music’s power to uplift, inspire, and unite.
Daily Joy is a project of From the Top. It began in the very early days of the Covid-19 pandemic and continues today to offer a much-needed respite from the anxiety and worry that we encounter in the world.
