In 1893, Antonin Dvorák spent a summer vacationing in Iowa. He fell in love with American folk music and was inspired to write today’s featured piece.

Chicago, Illinois The Chen Family String Quartet features FTT alumna Beatrice, her brother Noah, her father Robert Chen (Concertmaster, Chicago Symphony Orchestra) and her mother Laura Park (Faculty at Aspen Music Festival and School).
