Brandon Leonard (cello), 15, from Stone Mountain, Georgia, is a sophomore at Chamblee Charter High School. He studies music with Karen Freer at the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Talent Development Program and is a member of the Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra. Brandon won second place in the junior division of the 23rd Annual Sphinx Competition and is principal cellist for the 2020 Georgia Music Educator’s Association (GMEA) All State Orchestra. Outside of music, Brandon enjoys skating, playing board games, and hanging out with his friends.

Daily Joy is a project of From the Top. It began in the very early days of the Covid-19 pandemic and continues today to offer a much-needed respite from the anxiety and worry that we encounter in the world.
