Janaya Palmer (voice), 18, comes from Baltimore, Maryland. She studies classical voice with her teacher Robert Cantrell at the illustrious Baltimore School for the Arts. She performs as a soloist and as a member of her school’s choruses. She also enjoys singing in many languages, performing works by underrepresented composers, and performing as a musical theatre actress.

Outside of music, Janaya enjoys hair styling, reading, tumbling in her weekly gymnastics class, and writing short stories, novels, and poetry. She is also interested in real estate, architecture, interior design, and psychology.
